Style Journey- Odds and Ends

A few more things I've been meaning to share with you.

- I DID successfully find a pair of amazing jeans last weekend at Hip Fit. It took about 4 armloads in the dressing room and trying on pretty much every pair they had in 3 different sizes but I finally found the perfect pair! Of which, they only had one pair. (sigh)

The brand was one I had never heard of, Blue Cult. If I remember, I'll post a pic.

From what I've heard from other, more seasoned shoppers, it is possible to try on 2 pairs of the same exact jeans in the same exact style and size and have one fit and the other not. It took me only 2 shopping trips to find these so I consider that a coup.

- The jeans needed to be hemmed so i also completed the last step of the wardrobe taming, which I was supposed to do back on Day 2 or something, which was to take ALL my dry cleaning in to the cleaners and to have any alterations done that I needed. $90 later, my closet is about doubled in fullness and four pairs of pants no longer drag on the ground when I wear them. What a difference! The truly embarrassing thing is that 3 of the four pairs i had hemmed I have owned for two years. The bottoms were totally dirty and ruined from the dragging. Not to mention I had to walk around with my hands in my pockets trying to hold them up so I wouldn't trip on them! Aye yi yi, I am ridiculous.

- This weekend I am going OUTLET shopping on Saturday, which I hope will be fruitful.

- On Monday I am going to a Sample Sale that is supposed to have clothes by a designer I'm in love with, Lewis Cho.

Then I'm going to dial it back on the spending y'all. At least until Mr. Jones tells me I am ready for accessories.

Outlet shopping?? Kenosha, Light house, Elburn or in Aurora? That's always fun. I really enjoy spending the day at any of those.
