Pounder with Cheese

The McDonald's sign i reference above was both hilarious and apropos at midnight last night on my way home from band practice.

Miss D has been having a hard time adjusting to her new school and none of us are getting much sleep. She is basically not going to sleep until we do, and then waking up multiple times in the middle of the night with nightmares.

Husband and I were going back and forth wondering if we had made the right choice to change schools. (We really like her new school.) But after talking to many parents and especially after receiving an expert opinion from M. Shroper, we are feeling better about our decision even as we settle in to ride out what is likely to be a long storm.

I was able to hang out at her school for a few hours this morning which seemed to help, but we will see if it backfires when we go to drop her off tomorrow.

I am going into work a little late tomorrow again but I hope to be up to my regular posting rate by the end of the week. :)

Charlie has gone through a number of rough patches with daycare/school and he hasn't even switched. He just recently has been much better about drop-offs that used to be a fest of tears and hanging onto mom/dad (mostly since the baby was born). I hope you get some sleep soon!
