Tomorrow morning I am leaving on a very short trip to visit my grandfather in CT. (I'll be back by Sunday afternoon). It's been a couple of years since I've seen him. We had the money so i thought it would be a good idea to visit him before number 2 comes.
I'll be traveling on my own. Probably the last time I took a trip solo was the last time I visited him. I'm looking forward to reading a lot on the airplane.
Miss D has never met him, which makes me a little sad, but the circumstances are never right to bring her along. Grandpa (whom I nickname "The Grump) is not really into little kids too much. If my Grandmother was still alive it would be a very different story. I miss her so much.
