For the past 5 or so days, the discomfort I was feeling trying to fall asleep has progressed into full-on waking me up in the middle of the night discomfort.
I don't know if my body is so wedged in with pillows that I can't move myself in my sleep or it is the actual pain that is waking me up. Last night it was my hips in particular. In addition, it has all of sudden gotten really hot here and Husband was turning down the AC at night. I woke up at 1am in pain and couldn't fall asleep from the heat. I went downstairs and slept fitfully on the couch for a while before waking up around 3 and moving to the guest bedroom which was a little more comfortable. (Our bedroom is in the back of the house, off to the side and gets zero air flow)
It seems so unfair that I should be having so many sleep issues this early on in the pregnancy when god knows it's going to be like 2 years before I get a full nights sleep on a regular basis again. (sigh)

So much for the honeymoon phase! I didn't sleep a solid night for the last trimester when I was pregnant with Jonas. And 2005 was the absolute worst summer. It was 90 degrees plus and humid for like 4 months (be glad Ms. D is born in March!). But, this won't last forever and when it's over every second of misery you went through will be worth it. Lisa
Think of it this way - only 729 days and counting til a full nights sleept (365x2-1)
Lack of sleep, or limitations on sleep, is MOSTLY why I don't have any kids yet. Plus there's the chick thing too.... :-)
oh no - this makes my sleep complaints pretty tame I guess!
