This package has been open and sitting on a coffee table in the playroom since Sunday.*
*I feel i must say that this is probably the 3rd McD meal Miss D has ever had- and it was mainly because she wanted the My Little Pony Toy. It was a reward for helping rake leaves.

Wow.
Maybe you could leave it on the table, as an experiment, and see how many days it does take to turn brown?
Hmmm...maybe go with fries next time :) I know they put ascorbic acid on their apples to prevent browning, but that is basically vitamin C, isn't it? And don't feel bad about Happy Meals - I would say my kids have at least 2 per month! Oh yeah, plus I used to work on McD Happy Meals - so short of deciding to copy Supersize Me, I will not judge you. Lisa
Wow, two days and no browning. Those apples are on steroids!!
I remember when you were kids us buying a McDonalds 'Thick Shake', leaving in on the counter overnight and finding it just as thick the next morning.
I try to stay away from McD's at all costs.
that is very frightening, but I must admit I buy the pre-cut bags of veggies from time to time here and those mushrooms NEVER change color.
