I swore I would wait a while before posting about another food blog, but too many of my readers will appreciate this post to wait!
The French Laundry at Home
Yes. It's exactly what you might think it is. A very brave woman, attempting every single recipe in the French Laundry cookbook. Carol's posts are long, descriptive, candid and frequently humorous. She also includes great pics of many of the cooking steps as well as the final plating, which is always gorgeous. As a person that is not quite ready to attempt a recipe with that many steps, it is a true delight to experience it vicariously, step-by-step. To those of you who might be ready to cook something along these lines, it might even give you the push you need to give one of these dishes a try. (I'm looking at YOU De-I, SWRM and BCD!)
This blogger is also just one of the many I read that come from the Baltimore/DC area. An intriguing coincidence? Hmmmmmmm....
As always, I love to hear what you think.

Wow, that does sound like a neat blog. You won't catch me cutting any faces off of crabs, though.
Stef - THANK YOU for telling us about that blog! It's great! How ever did you find it??
Well I think you should just buy me the French Laundry Cookbook and then boogey on down to ABQ for your return on investment.
*sigh*
These sorts sites just aren't my thing.
Ugh, cutting the face off of crab...that's just cruel. Yes, yes, I'm sure worse shit happens to other animals, but I'm not doing it. Yech.
