House Empty and Fancy Free

After two solid weeks of house guests it is a relief to be back to our little family unit and our regular lives. (She says from her first day back at the day job)

We'll see how long that lasts.

We had a very nice NYE with my cousin RM and her boyfriend A. I'll blog about it when I upload the pics. Yesterday was snowy and cold but nonetheless, Husband pushed me out the door to shop at the holiday sales. Practically no one was out so it was actually a pleasant experience and I got a number of great pieces for great prices.

I hope everyone had lovely New Years and is ready to face the workaday world. I know I have many things to get started on that were on hold for the holidays. how about you?

Your cousin, RM and boyfriend A just left our house. So, I too, am "House empty and Fancy Free". But then it is back to the usual stuff. I'll look for pictures of NYE.

I've had a such a restful holiday season that I've been rarin' to go. Unfortunately it seems that the rest of the world is more in the Lakeview mode so I guess I'll have to wait until Monday.

I am glad to be back to the normal routine. But then I don't have to go into an office and work. How about we move New Years Day to March so we have time to anticipate it and enjoy it!

my holidays were restful but too brief to make an impact. As for projects, well those are top secret right now.
