Miss D is now "fully potty trained" in that she no longer wears diapers. Unfortunately she also tends to withold her bowel movements for days at a time so last night when she kept getting out of bed saying she needed to use the potty, I let her. Finally after 3 or 4 times i got wise that she was just using it as an excuse to not go to bed. Exasperated and tired I got down to her level and looked her in the eye.
"Miss D," I said, " Either go to the potty or you are going to bed"
She looked at me solemnly and said (using her fingers), "1...2...3. Time out. Time out for you Mama."
SO hard not to laugh.

Uh oh, she's getting too smart for us!
I remember so few of the great things my children said when they were small, so this blog is great for recording such things. Congratulations to Miss D.
So how long did you have to be in time out anyway?
It starts out with something small like that and then next thing you know they are getting tattoos and piercings!
So cute. Love the new look of the blog! Is this change in keeping with your fashion makeover? We want more pics of new fabulous outfits!
you think that'll work on other adults? My boss maybe? :P
