If you were waiting for the current economic situation to effect someone you know personally- wait no longer!
Due to paranoia and other reasons I can't go into detail here except to say that the only positive is that I am still employed.
Nothing some severe boot-strap pulling can't fix. ho ho.

I'm feeling it too, let me tell you. The traffic at the store has suddenly dropped off starting in September. I don't know if it's a knee-jerk reaction tightening of belts or if folks really are able to spend less ... but it's happening.
Glad you still have a job. I am sending lots of positive thoughts your way.
