Style Journey- It Continueth

The actual "wardrobe taming" program i was on is pretty much completed, but the style journey continues!

I had to post pics of the pants i was telling you about. These were pants given to me by AinA (before she became AinA so uh, I've had them a while) that had been hemmed too short. The fabulous Mr. Jones had suggested i roll them up and wear them with boots...

I must tell you that within the first hour of work I received two compliments on the pants alone, followed by at least six more compliments on the outfit in full throughout the day. I have to say, it really makes a difference to ones ego to get positive feedback continuously. Proof positive that everyone should do this! The white oxford shirt is an old one of husbands and is the one thing I would change as it was a bit giant on me. The jacket was a steal at $20 that I picked up last weekend. (I happened on a store that was having a sale, tried on about 100 things and walked away with only that jacket. I am learning how to shop!) In my hair? A crazy ass tie that i had left over from punkier days.

That pic doesn't reveal the newest change though...

I bought makeup! To wear on a daily basis! Can you tell? Maybe this weekend I will do some before and after pics and tell you a little more about my makeup experience. It is truly fascinating.

Miss D's big smile in her jammies totally completes the outfit.

Agree totally with Kegz and the make-up definitely makes a difference. I love women with boots.

The makeup looks terrific - you can tell when people are using great makeup, because you don't notice the makeup, you just think the person looks terrific. And that's what you've got going on.
